This app-led scavenger hunt takes you through Cologne on foot, using phone-based riddles to guide you from one landmark to the next. No guide, no fixed start time.

What to expect
The route begins in the shadow of the Kölner Dom, whose twin spires define the city's skyline and took over 600 years to complete. The first riddles explore the cathedral's remarkable history and the Roman and medieval layers beneath the modern city.
From the Dom, the trail leads you to the Hohenzollernbrücke, the famous railway bridge draped in thousands of love locks, stretching across the Rhine toward the east bank.
The app then guides you into the Altstadt to the Rathaus — Cologne's historic town hall and one of the oldest in Germany, with a rich and turbulent history to match.
Around 2 hours of walking, any group size. A fully charged smartphone with mobile data is required.
