What to expect
The route leads you through Tavira's quietly beautiful Old Town, a tangle of whitewashed streets, tiled churches, and river views. The first clues take you to the Câmara Municipal de Tavira — the elegant town hall that anchors the main square and houses centuries of civic history.
From here, the trail climbs toward the Castelo de Tavira, the old Moorish castle whose walls offer fine views over the terracotta rooftops and the Gilão river below.
The app then guides you down to the Ponte Antiga — the ancient seven-arch bridge crossing the Gilão, believed to have Roman origins and one of Tavira's most enduring landmarks.
