What to expect
The route takes you through one of South Asia's most dynamic city centres, where Dutch colonial architecture stands alongside glass towers and busy street markets. The first riddles lead you along Nelum Pokuna Art Street, a creative hub showcasing Sri Lankan contemporary art in an unexpected urban setting.
From here, the trail takes you to the Gangarama Seema Malaka, a striking floating Buddhist temple on Beira Lake — one of Colombo's most photographed landmarks and a tranquil spot in the middle of a busy city.
The app then guides you to the Colombo National Museum, the country's largest and oldest museum, housing a vast collection of royal regalia, art, and natural history.
Around 2 hours of walking, any group size. A fully charged smartphone with mobile data is required.
