What to expect

Starting at the InfoPoint at Museumstrasse 1, by Zurich's main station, you'll open the Explorial app, enter the 6-digit game code that you received by text and Viator chat message, and cross into the Altstadt. The tour is fully self-guided — no guide, no fixed start time, just your group and the city.

The Augustinergasse charms first — a lane of brightly painted bay windows built by merchants showing off politely, the Swiss way. Riddles inspect the details.

At the Fraumünster, trivia glows through Chagall's five stained-glass windows, a modern masterpiece inside a 9th-century foundation.

Then the Stüssibrunnen fountain stands guard at the Rindermarkt, armoured and defiant among the guild houses of the Niederdorf.

Around two hours along both banks of the Limmat. The leaderboard renders its verdict with Swiss precision.
