What to expect
Your first landmark is the Cathédrale de Monaco, the neo-Romanesque cathedral built from white La Turbie stone in 1875, where Princess Grace Kelly is buried and where the Grimaldi princes have been enthroned for generations.
From there the app takes you down toward the Place du Casino in Monte-Carlo, where the Belle Époque casino designed by Charles Garnier draws visitors as much for its architecture as its gaming tables, and where the terrace and the gardens frame one of the most famous views on the Côte d'Azur.
The route then leads to the Automobile Club de Monaco, the organisation responsible for the Formula One Grand Prix — one of sport's most prestigious events — whose headquarters mark the spot where racing history is administered and the street circuit begins.
Around 2 hours on foot, with some gentle slopes between the Rock and the Casino quarter.
