What to expect

Starting at the MuseumsQuartier, you'll open the Explorial app, enter the 6-digit game code that you received by text and Viator chat message, and dive into one of the world's largest cultural complexes. The tour is fully self-guided — no guide, no fixed start time, just your group and the city.

The MQ courtyards come first, where the Kunsthalle and Tanzquartier share space with lounging students on colourful benches. Riddles mingle with the modern art.

Across the Ring, the Kunsthistorisches Museum faces its twin across Maria-Theresien-Platz. Trivia raids an empire's worth of Brueghels, Klimts and curiosities.

Then the route sweeps to the Wiener Staatsoper, where clues take a bow before one of the great opera houses of the world.

Around two hours from avant-garde to aria. The final score decides who deserves the standing ovation.
