What to expect
First stop: the Republik Kugelmugel, a spherical house that declared itself an independent republic — complete with border dispute. The riddles here have diplomatic immunity.
Then the Wiener Riesenrad turns overhead, the 1897 Ferris wheel immortalised in The Third Man. Trivia spins through film noir and imperial jubilees.
The Wurstelprater closes the loop with bumper cars, ghost trains and sausage stands that have fed generations of Viennese.
Around two hours of parkland and nostalgia. The leaderboard is the only ride with a queue worth joining.
