What to expect

Starting at Welterbeplatz 1, gateway to the UNESCO Wachau, you'll open the Explorial app, enter the 6-digit game code that you received by text and Viator chat message, and head into the old town. The tour is fully self-guided — no guide, no fixed start time, just your group and the city.

The route rises toward the Dom der Wachau, the baroque parish church watching over red rooftops and terraced vineyards. Riddles ring from its tower.

At Museumsplatz, trivia explores the former monastery that now anchors Krems' art and wine culture — both taken very seriously here.

Then the Steiner Tor takes the spotlight: the last of the medieval city gates, flanked by twin towers and centuries of arrivals.

Around two hours at valley pace, with wine taverns waiting politely at the finish. The leaderboard pours out the final standings.
