What to expect
Your first stop is Angels Flight Railway, the funicular railroad that has been ferrying passengers up and down Bunker Hill since 1901, making it the oldest surviving funicular in California and one of the shortest railways in the world.
From there the app guides you to Los Angeles City Hall, the distinctive Art Deco tower that has appeared in Superman, Dragnet, and dozens of other films and TV shows — a building so embedded in American pop culture that it feels like a film set even when you're standing in front of it.
The route then takes you to the Walt Disney Concert Hall, Frank Gehry's stainless steel masterpiece completed in 2003, whose billowing curves transformed the Bunker Hill skyline and gave downtown LA a landmark to match its ambitions.
