This app-led scavenger hunt takes you through Osnabrück on foot, using phone-based riddles to guide you from one landmark to the next. No guide, no fixed start time.

What to expect
Starting at Platz der Deutschen Einheit, you'll open the Explorial app, enter the 6-digit game code that you received by text and Viator chat message, and head into the old town. The tour is fully self-guided — no guide, no fixed start time, just your group and the city.
The Historisches Rathaus anchors the hunt — the Gothic hall where the Peace of Westphalia was proclaimed in 1648, ending thirty years of war. Riddles honour the handshake.
The Dom St. Peter follows with its famously unequal towers, one slim and one stout, and a treasury of stories between them. Trivia takes both sides.
Then the Bucksturm stands watch, the oldest tower of the city wall with a darker past as a prison for accused witches.
Around two hours through the Friedensstadt. The leaderboard concludes with a peace treaty — and one clear winner.
