What to expect
The Markgräfliches Opernhaus takes the overture — a UNESCO-listed baroque theatre so magnificent it lured Wagner to town, though he found it too small for his ambitions. Riddles take their seats.
The Neues Schloss follows, Margravine Wilhelmine's palace of rococo fantasies, garden and all. Trivia curtsies through the courtyards.
Then the Dinosaurier delivers the plot twist — a life-sized saurian standing guard where you'd least expect one, a local mascot with its own fan base.
Around two hours from opera to prehistory. The leaderboard delivers the final aria.
