This app-led scavenger hunt takes you through Interlaken on foot, using phone-based riddles to guide you from one landmark to the next. No guide, no fixed start time.

What to expect

Starting at Interlaken West station, you'll open the Explorial app, enter the 6-digit game code that you received by text and Viator chat message, and stroll into the town between the lakes. The tour is fully self-guided — no guide, no fixed start time, just your group and the city.

The Kursaal opens the route in Belle Époque style, its casino gardens and flower clock keeping colourful time. Riddles bet responsibly.

The Höheweg follows — the grand promenade where every bench faces the Jungfrau, paragliders drifting down onto the Höhematte lawn. The photo task frames itself.

Then the Hotel Interlaken, serving travellers since 1323, shares its Japanese Friendship Garden — a quiet bow to sister-city Otsu.

Around two hours between Lakes Thun and Brienz. The leaderboard lands the final score as gently as the paragliders.
