As we travel from the 12 Apostles towards the lush Otway Ranges, keep your eyes on the eucalyptus trees for one of Australia’s most loved animals — the koala. This peaceful forest area is one of the best places along the Great Ocean Road to spot koalas in their natural habitat. We will stop so you can look for them high in the trees, enjoy the fresh forest air, and take memorable photos of these iconic Australian animals in the wild.

4Apollo Bay
Enjoy a relaxing lunch stop in Apollo Bay, one of the most charming seaside towns along the Great Ocean Road. 6Great Ocean Road Memorial Archway
Stop at the famous Great Ocean Road Memorial Arch, one of the most recognisable landmarks on the route. This historic arch marks the beginning of the Great Ocean Road and pays tribute to the returned soldiers who built the road after the First World War. It is a popular photo stop and a great place to learn a little about the history behind this iconic coastal drive before continuing along the scenic coastline.
