Discover authentic Dominican culture on a private half-day tour from Punta Cana to Higüey, accompanied by a local guide. Visit a typical house and coffee and cocoa plantation, where you will know its growing and preparation processes. Then, enjoy an independent stop at an artisan cigar factory to observe its traditional brewing.
In Higüey, tour the local market, visit the historic Church of San Dionisio and visit the Basilica of Nuestra Señora de la Altagracia, one of the main cultural and religious symbols of the country. You’ll also have time for a short shopping stop for local produce and souvenirs.
Throughout the tour, your guide will share details about Dominican customs, agriculture and daily life. Upon completion, your private transportation will take you comfortably back to your hotel.

4Rancho Real Cigars
An authentic Dominican factory, where you can try cigar making in the original environment with the original tools. You can buy Dominican Cigars and, of course, there is a wide variety of cigars, from cheap to premium quality.

Continuing our panoramic tour we will observe the neighborhood of La Otro Banda, one of the busiest neighborhoods in the area since it is very close to the city.

8Basilica Cathedral Of Our Lady Of High Grace
Then we will arrive at the place most visited by Dominicans, the Nuestra Señora De La Altagracia Cathedral. The construction began in 1954 and took 17 years to complete. There we can enjoy that magnificent construction, its beautiful interiors and why not, be able to pray for a few minutes.
