Our tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo or Giza to begin an unforgettable journey to the Giza Plateau, home of the Great Pyramid of Egypt, the Pyramid of King Khufu, and the Great Sphinx. Your guide will escort you through the pyramid complex, which includes nine pyramids in total. Three of them are the main royal pyramids: the Pyramid of King Khufu, the Pyramid of King Khafre, and the Pyramid of King Menkaure. Surrounding them are six smaller pyramids built for the queens, along with beautifully decorated aristocratic tombs that display remarkable scenes of daily life in ancient Egypt. After exploring the pyramids, you will continue to the Great Sphinx, one of Egypt’s most iconic monuments. Then enjoy a traditional Egyptian BBQ lunch at a local restaurant.
