This is not a commercial attraction or a crowded tourist stop. The sanctuary is located deep in the Akumal jungle, completely outside the typical tourist routes; a hidden place that most travelers would never discover on their own. We personally guide our guests there to offer access to a meaningful experience focused on connection, conservation, and respect for wildlife.
Unlike many similar tours where visitors simply walk by animals and take pictures from a distance, here you’ll genuinely interact with rescued animals in a natural and educational environment
After the sanctuary visit, we refresh in the crystal-clear waters of a hidden covered cenote surrounded by nature; a peaceful and magical place far from the crowded cenotes found on most commercial excursions.
To complete the experience, we finish the day with a full meal at Lara and Luca International Restaurant in Playa del Carmen, offering high-quality international cuisine in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.

Meet at Lara & Luca Restaurant, our starting point and where we'll enjoy our meal after the experience. Private parking is available for guests arriving by car. Feel free to wait inside, enjoy the air conditioning, and perhaps a good coffee before the adventure begins.

Step into the heart of the Akumal jungle for one of the most authentic and emotional wildlife experiences in the Riviera Maya! This is not a zoo where animals are simply observed; here, you’ll truly connect with rescued wildlife in a respectful and educational environment dedicated to protection, rehabilitation, and conservation. Guided by a passionate local nature expert, you’ll discover the inspiring mission of the sanctuary and learn the important differences between a rescue sanctuary and a traditional zoo. Throughout the experience, you’ll interact closely with incredible animals from the region and beyond, including colorful guacamaya parrots, gentle giant turtles, boas, crocodiles, hawks, deers, wild pigs, and many more fascinating species. And then comes the absolute highlight of the sanctuary: the spider monkeys Curious, intelligent, playful, and incredibly affectionate, these amazing animals create unforgettable moments and genuine emotional connections with guests.
