The Wine Country Shuttle from San Francisco is designed for travelers who want a more flexible and enjoyable way to experience both Napa and Sonoma without being locked into a rigid tour schedule. This small-group experience includes visits to two hand-selected wineries, one in Sonoma and one in Napa, while also giving you extended free time in Sonoma Plaza where you can shape your day however you’d like. Guests may choose to add an additional tasting at one of the many nearby tasting rooms, enjoy a relaxed lunch at one of the plaza’s popular restaurants, browse local shops, or simply unwind with a glass of wine and take in the laid-back Wine Country atmosphere. Unlike traditional wine tours that rush from stop to stop, this experience is paced to feel easy, social, and customizable. Wine tasting fees are not included, giving guests full control over their spending and allowing them to choose tasting experiences that best fit their interests and budget.

Begin your day in San Francisco and travel north across the Golden Gate Bridge while enjoying scenic views of the bay, skyline, and surrounding coastline. After a brief photo stop at the bridge, continue into Wine Country where rolling vineyards and picturesque countryside set the tone for a relaxing day.
The first stop is at a Sonoma winery where guests may choose to enjoy an optional tasting experience, stroll the property, purchase wine, or simply relax and take in the scenery. Tasting fees are typically around $20–$30 per person and may be waived with the purchase of bottles of wine from the winery.
From there, continue to historic Sonoma Plaza for an extended lunch and free-time stop. This flexible portion of the day allows guests to enjoy lunch at one of the many local restaurants, explore boutique shops and art galleries, enjoy an additional tasting at one of the nearby tasting rooms, or simply relax in the plaza surrounded by Wine Country charm.
In the afternoon, the shuttle continues to a Napa Valley winery for the final stop of the day. Guests may choose to participate in another optional tasting experience, purchase bottles to take home, or enjoy the winery grounds before relaxing on the scenic drive back to San Francisco.
