Jet Boat Experience

Climb aboard our high performance jet powered RIB and experience the thrill of operating a real commercial jet boat under the guidance of a qualified skipper. During the trip, travellers will take turns at the helm, learning how the vessel handles while using professional onboard systems including radar, AIS vessel tracking, autopilot and digital navigation charts.

The experience combines hands on boat handling with fast paced coastal cruising along the Suffolk and Norfolk coastline. Guests will feel the acceleration, manoeuvrability and responsiveness of the Hamilton jet drive system while also learning about navigation, harbour operations and local maritime activity.

Depending on conditions and route, travellers may also pass commercial vessels, offshore wind support craft, beaches, coastal landmarks and wildlife near to Lowestoft and surrounding areas. Safety equipment and waterproofs are provided, and each trip is tailored by the skipper to suit the interests and experience level of the group.
