Gently rise with the sun on a premium balloon flight, floating above rolling hills, verdant farmland, winding rivers, and picturesque historic towns dating back to the 1830s. Float over some of the Yarra Valley’s world-renowned vineyards and wineries. You will be guided by award-winning, internationally experienced pilots, who are locals within the Yarra Valley. This breathtaking, once-in-a-lifetime adventure showcases the Yarra Valley from an unforgettable perspective.
What's Included
Meeting and pickup
You have to book Yarra Valley Breakfast and Transfer Package OR Yarra Valley Flight and Transfer Package to add these pick up options- from the 12 selectable CBD hotels. The pickup time will be confirmed via the Global Ballooning mobile app by 6pm the night before. It may be 1-2hrs before sunrise.
After the flight and breakfast, we will drop you back to Federation Square in the CBD. If you have booked the Flight and Transfer (no breakfast), you will be dropped directly after your flight. You will be back by mid-morning, except for winter (June-August) when you're back by late morning.
Meet at Balgownie Estate for those not selecting transfers. If you choose the product: Yarra Valley Flight, Breakfast and CBD TRANSFER OR Yarra Valley Flight and Transfer (no breakfast) - we can pick you up from 12 selectable CBD hotels. Please confirm the hotel with Global Ballooning.
What to expect
Travel in comfort on the Global Ballooning bus to your scenic launch site and participate in the balloon setup.
Experience approximately 1 hour of flight over the picturesque Yarra Valley, taking in sweeping views of vineyards and rolling hills.
Once you land, assist with the balloon pack-down, then return to Balgownie Estate.
Indulge in a buffet breakfast (if included) while your flight photos are shared via the Global Ballooning app, ready to download.
Take home a luxe balloon magnet as a lasting memento of your unforgettable adventure.
