What to expect

Discover Salzburg through its most delicious traditions in a hands-on cooking experience in one of the city’s oldest quarters. Here, centuries-old houses don’t just look as if they disappear into Salzburg’s city mountain — they are actually built right into it.

Together with an experienced chef, you’ll prepare two Austrian favorites: traditional Apple Strudel and your own fluffy Salzburg pretzel.

Make your strudel from scratch and experience the highlight: stretching the delicate dough by hand until it is paper-thin. Then shape your own soft pretzel before everything goes into the oven.

Enjoy your freshly baked pretzel, still warm from the oven, with a bowl of traditional Austrian goulash stew. A vegetarian or vegan alternative is also available.

Finish with your freshly baked Apple Strudel — the perfect sweet ending.

No cooking experience is needed. More than a cooking class, it’s a relaxed and authentic taste of Salzburg filled with local traditions, great food and memorable moments.

Come hungry — you’ll leave with a full stomach, new cooking skills and a taste of Salzburg to take home! Perfect for couples, families and friends looking for a tasty Salzburg memory.
