This tour offers a unique way to explore the borderland & all of its history. Participants get to ride through beautiful landscapes that might be missed when traveling by bus or on foot. For those who enjoy biking, it’s a great way to stay active while traveling.
This tour is designed for families and travellers who want to enjoy cycling without tackling a long or demanding route.
Important information:
Participants must be able to ride a bicycle independently and safely.
Participants are responsible for any damage they cause to third parties as a result of insufficient cycling skills or unsafe cycling.
Please arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes before departure. We can wait up to 5 minutes for late arrivals if notified by phone. Late arrivals who miss the tour are not entitled to a refund.
The tour route and stops may be adjusted due to traffic, roadworks, weather, safety reasons, or local events.

1Damme
Just outside Bruges, the landscape changes quickly. You'll cycle through the flat countryside of Flanders, pass Belgian cows and follow the canals towards the historic town of Damme. Damme was once an important port town connected to Bruges. Your local guide will explain the history of its fortifications and share stories about the canals and landscape around it. Includes a break in Damme for drinks (drinks excluded). You'll also learn about Napoleon's plans for the area, adding a surprising piece of history to the countryside around you. We've been running bike tours in Bruges since 2002, giving visitors the chance to experience both the city and the countryside from two wheels. With a knowledgeable local guide, a relaxed pace and a route designed to be enjoyed rather than raced, this is a great way for families to see a side of Bruges that many visitors never reach.
