This is a private tour designed entirely around you.
Rather than following a fixed timetable or travelling with a large group, you'll enjoy a relaxed day exploring Scotland at your own pace with a knowledgeable local driver guide.
From iconic Highland scenery and famous landmarks to hidden viewpoints, quiet villages and unforgettable photography stops, every journey is tailored to make the most of your day. If you'd like to spend a little longer somewhere, we can. If you discover somewhere unexpected along the way, we'll stop.
Travelling in a premium Mercedes vehicle, you'll enjoy a comfortable, flexible experience while discovering the stories, history and local knowledge that bring Scotland to life.
Our aim is simple. By the end of the day, we hope you'll feel less like you've taken a tour and more like you've spent the day travelling with a local.
No visit to Edinburgh is complete without seeing the magnificent Forth Rail Bridge. Completed in 1890 and recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, this remarkable Victorian engineering masterpiece has carried trains across the Firth of Forth for well over a century. We'll stop for photographs and enjoy panoramic views of all three Forth bridges while learning the fascinating story behind one of Scotland's most iconic landmarks.
As we leave Edinburgh, we'll drive past The Kelpies, Scotland's largest equine sculptures. Standing 30 metres high, these striking landmarks celebrate the country's industrial heritage and the powerful working horses that once pulled barges along Scotland's canals. It's a memorable sight as we begin our journey into the Highlands.
Step back in time with a visit to Doune Castle, one of Scotland's best preserved medieval castles. Built in the late 14th century, it has become one of the country's most recognisable filming locations, appearing as Castle Leoch in Outlander, Winterfell in the pilot episode of Game of Thrones and famously featuring throughout Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Whether you're a history enthusiast or a film fan, it's a fascinating stop full of character and stories.
No Highland adventure is complete without meeting Scotland's most famous residents. We'll stop at Kilmahog, home to Hamish, Honey and Baxter, three friendly Highland cows who are always happy to pose for photographs. You'll even have the chance to feed these gentle giants while learning why their long shaggy coats and impressive horns have helped them thrive in Scotland's rugged landscape. It's one of the most popular stops of the day and a favourite with guests of all ages.
Nestled within the Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park, Loch Lubnaig is one of Scotland's most peaceful beauty spots. Surrounded by forests and rolling Highland hills, it's the perfect place to pause, breathe in the fresh Highland air and capture some stunning photographs. Away from the crowds, it's a wonderful introduction to the spectacular scenery that lies ahead.
One of our favourite off the beaten track stops, the picturesque village of Killin is full of local character. Cross the historic stone bridge as the Falls of Dochart thunder beneath your feet, admire the beautifully restored old watermill and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of a village that feels a world away from the busy tourist routes. It's an authentic slice of Scottish life and one of those places guests often tell us they would never have found without a local guide.
Surrounded by rugged mountains and unspoilt Highland scenery, Loch Tulla is one of Scotland's most picturesque viewpoints. We'll stop here to take in the views and capture some memorable photographs, while discovering its intriguing connection to Ian Fleming, creator of James Bond, who found inspiration in this beautiful corner of the Highlands.
Prepare to experience one of the most breathtaking landscapes in Scotland. Carved by glaciers and shaped by volcanic activity millions of years ago, Glen Coe is a place of dramatic mountain peaks, winding roads and unforgettable scenery. We'll stop at several carefully chosen viewpoints, including the iconic Three Sisters, where towering mountains rise from the valley floor to create one of the most photographed landscapes in the Highlands. Beyond its natural beauty, Glen Coe is steeped in history. It was the site of the infamous Massacre of Glencoe in 1692, a story of betrayal that remains one of Scotland's most powerful and moving historical events. Standing amongst these mountains, it's easy to understand why Glen Coe is often described as the spiritual heart of the Scottish Highlands.
We stop at Mhor 84 because it perfectly reflects the kind of places we love to share. Set in the heart of Highland Perthshire, it's relaxed, full of character and serves excellent locally sourced food. It's a chance to slow down, stretch your legs and enjoy great Scottish hospitality before continuing through some of the country's most spectacular scenery.
