    Meet your guide and begin your scenic journey through central and western Shetland.

    Stop at hilltop viewpoints in Whiteness and Weisdale. Enjoy panoramic views and take photos of the surrounding countryside.

    Arrive at the home of Marion and Amanda, Shetland Sheepdog, Pony, and Sheep breeders. Spend time with the animals, including Shetland Ponies (often with foals in May) and Shetland Sheepdogs. Learn about Shetland’s native breeds and their importance to island life. Knitting enthusiasts will enjoy seeing the naturally occurring Shetland wool and can handle various fleeces.

    ‘The Original Cake Fridge’ (20 min) Enjoy a stop at this local spot for takeaway homebakes and coffee. Savor traditional Shetland treats while enjoying the surrounding scenery. Aith (20 min) Drive along the stunning road between Aith and Voe, known locally as ‘The Alps,’ where you’ll be treated to breathtaking views over the Atlantic Ocean. Take a quiet side road for even more dramatic vistas.
