Private dogsledding adventure, Arctic farm life and overnight stay at our little husky lodge.

OffTrack Experience
Meet our huskies and get to know the dogs before learning how to harness your own team and handle the sled. Then head out into the snowy forests and mountains of inland Northern Norway, driving your own dog team through the Arctic landscape. Two guests share a sled, taking turns as driver and passenger along the way. The trail is approximately two hours, adapted to the snow, weather and group. Your guide travels with you and is always nearby, while you experience the excitement of working together with your own team of huskies — and the incredible silence when the dogs settle into their rhythm. Along the way, we stop for a warm outdoor lunch around the fire before returning to our little husky farm. There is plenty of time to meet the dogs, learn about life with a working husky team and simply enjoy being around them.

OffTrack Experience
After dogsledding, settle into your private log house and enjoy the quiet rhythm of an evening at our little husky farm. Join us when we feed the dogs, spend more time with the huskies, or simply relax by the fire. As darkness falls, you can head outside to explore the snowy surroundings on foot or with snowshoes and, if the sky is clear, perhaps see the Northern Lights above the farm. Your host is nearby throughout your stay, while giving you the space to enjoy the place at your own pace.

OffTrack Experience
Explore the snowy surroundings at your own pace using the snowshoes provided. Wander through the quiet forest around the husky farm and, after dark, keep an eye on the sky for the Northern Lights. There is no fixed route or schedule — simply head outside whenever you feel like exploring.

OffTrack Experience
After a day outside with the dogs, warm up in our wood-fired sauna surrounded by the quiet of the Arctic forest. Take your time, step outside between sauna rounds to cool down in the fresh snow, and enjoy the contrast between the heat and the winter air. The sauna is yours to enjoy privately during your stay — a simple and very Norwegian way to end an Arctic day.

Day 2
Breakfast at the husky farm, a slow morning with the dogs and a last goodbye before departure

OffTrack Experience
Wake up in the quiet of the Arctic forest and enjoy a generous Norwegian breakfast at your own pace in our historic log house. Breakfast is self-service, with everything ready for you in the fridge, together with fresh bread, fruit, coffee and tea, and local favourites such as smoked salmon, cured meats, brown cheese and porridge. After breakfast, head outside to the dogyard and join us for the morning feeding. Spend some last time with the huskies, say goodbye to your team and enjoy the atmosphere of the farm before departure. If you are travelling back towards Tromsø by public transport, we can arrange a transfer to the bus station in Bardufoss.
