Our Safari Buggy Sensation is much more than just a buggy ride. This full day takes you to the heart of the Dominican countryside, through sugarcane plantations, rural tracks and unspoilt landscapes.
Behind the wheel of your buggy, enjoy a true off-road adventure before heading to the beautiful Chavón River for a refreshing swim in an exceptional natural setting. Guests can also enjoy a traditional Dominican lunch before heading back on the road.
More than just a buggy ride, this experience combines adventure, nature and discovery of the Dominican Republic, in small groups and far from the classic tourist circuits.

If you would like to travel from your Inn, please select the option for your area (for example:"Travel with transport from Punta Cana").
If you prefer to reach our Check-out Point in Bayahibe on your own, please select “Excursion with an Appointment at the Check-out Point”.
Once your Reservation is confirmed, we will contact you to let you know the exact time and location.
If you are staying in Bayahibe, our agency is within walking distance (5 min max). If you have a vehicle, you can reach us directly. Transport is available from Punta Cana, Bávaro, Uvero Alto, Juan Dolio, Boca Chica and La Romana (to be selected at Reservation).

Transport from the port of la romana will take you directly to the meeting point where the Guide will be waiting for you with the buggies ready to go

Arrive at the Ranch of Benerito you will embark in your buggies (The Guide will give you the safety rules and helmet) and you will leave towards fields of sugar cane

3La Altagracia Province
You arrive in the sugarcane fields in a weigh-in, the Guide will give you explanations on how the cutting goes, who cuts the cane and how it is worked. You can also taste it.

After weighing we will go to a Batey (Cane Cutter Village) the Guide will explain their lifestyles and you will have an exchange with the children

We will then go to the Riviere de Chavon for a swim. You will discover this magnificent river where several films have been shot, like ANACONDA, RAMBO II ...
