Our Divemasters will insure that your deep-dive adventure with us is safe and fun. After a short boat trip to one of Key Largo's iconic wrecks - either the USS Spiegel Grove or the US Coast Guard Cutter Duane - divers will conduct two guided dives.
Our new Newton Dive Special boat features an extra long ladder which makes getting out of the water easy. It also features an on-board restroom, plus two hot water showers. Photographers will appreciate our large two level camera table and separate rinse bucket for their cameras and lights.
We have rental cameras available, and top of the line scuba gear rentals.
Our dive boat is located on the ocean side of Key Largo which saves you the long transit through the mangroves to get to the ocean, this maximizes your time on the reef and saves your valuable vacation time for the things you want to do during your visit - dive.
Divers must perform to their level of certification.
What's Included
Meeting and pickup
Check in is between 7:30-7:45 AM for our morning boat. Drive on Overseas Highway (US-1) to the traffic light at mile marker 99.5 next to the Burger King. Turn west onto Ocean Bay Dr and then left to the parking lot of Bayside Inn Key Largo & follow the signs
What to expect
Embarking on a Deep Wreck Diving Adventure with Key Largo Dive Center is an unforgettable exploration of our exciting deep wrecks for certified Scuba Divers. The wrecks here are teeming with life— barracuda and sharks are often seen , while moray eels and lobsters peek from their hidden crevices. After completing a surface interval we jump in for the second dive. Tanks, Nitrox, and weights provided. Drinking water and snacks are provided. A cooler full of ice is available for passengers wishing to bring their own sports drinks or snacks.
A group dive guide is provided. All participants must be Advanced Certified Scuba Divers and Enriched Air (Nitrox) Diver certified, and are expected to proficiently perform to the level of their certification.
Required Equipment: All participants must possess their own DSMB or surface signaling device (Safety Sausage), Dive Computer, and Dive Light.
