This is a once-in-a-lifetime paragliding experience over one of the highest capital cities in the world. Travelers take off from the Teleférico area at approximately 4,100 meters above sea level and fly over Quito, descending toward Parque La Carolina with breathtaking views of the Andes, the city skyline, and surrounding volcanoes.

Few places in the world allow you to soar from the mountains over a capital city and land in the heart of the urban landscape. With a 1,300-meter vertical drop, 15 to 20 minutes of flight time, certified bilingual pilots, homologated safety equipment, and 360° video with 30 high-resolution photos included, this is one of the most unique adventure experiences in Ecuador and South America.

You can choose a pickup location at checkout (multiple pickup locations are available).
Pickup details:

Pickup is available from selected hotels and accommodations in central Quito. Exact pickup time will be confirmed after booking and may vary depending on your location. Most pickups take place around 4:45 AM.

If your accommodation is outside our pickup area, we will coordinate a convenient meeting point in central Quito, usually near Parque La Carolina.

What to expect

Travelers will enjoy a tandem paragliding flight over Quito from the Teleférico area to Parque La Carolina. After hotel pickup or meeting the team, we will drive to the takeoff area at approximately 4,100 meters above sea level. Before the flight, travelers will receive a safety briefing and personalized instructions from a certified bilingual pilot.

The flight lasts approximately 15 to 20 minutes, depending on wind and weather conditions, and offers panoramic views of Quito, Parque La Carolina, the Andes, and the surrounding mountains. After landing near Parque La Carolina, travelers will receive their flight diploma and we will coordinate delivery of their 360° video and high-resolution photos.
