Salinas y Aguada Blanca National Reserve

Patahuasi
We will make a stop in Patahuasi, a traditional resting point on the route to the Colca Valley. Here, travelers can better acclimate themselves to the height, use the toiletries and, if they wish, enjoy an infusion of coke, pestle or other hot drink. This stop makes the journey more comfortable before continuing to higher altitude areas.

We will enjoy a panoramic stop in the Toccra Bofedales, a natural high Andean area where you can appreciate wetlands, Andean birds and animals such as alpacas or llamas. Abra Patapampa
We will visit the Mirador de los Andes, also known as Patapampa, one of the highest and most impressive points on the route. From this place you can see panoramic views of the volcanoes and mountains surrounding the Colca Valley. It is one of the most memorable stops of the first day, ideal for photographs and to feel the grandeur of the Andean landscape.

Chivay
We will arrive in Chivay, the main village of the Colca Valley and the ideal place to rest before visiting the canyon the next day. After check-in at the hotel, you will have free time to have lunch, rest or walk around the village. Chivay offers a welcoming Andean atmosphere, surrounded by mountains, local traditions and beautiful valley landscapes.

La Calera Thermal Waters
In the afternoon, those wishing to visit the La Calera Thermal Baths, located near Chivay. This optional activity is perfect for relaxing after the trip along the High Andean route. Its hot springs are highly valued by travelers looking to rest before the second day of the tour.

Chivay – Colca Valley – Cruz del Condor – Puno

Yanque
We will visit Yanque, one of the most representative traditional villages of the Colca Valley. Depending on the time and conditions of the day, this stop allows you to appreciate its square, colonial church and local atmosphere. It is a brief but valuable introduction to the living culture of the valley before continuing to the main viewpoints of Colca Canyon.

We will stop in Maca, a picturesque village in the Colca Valley surrounded by mountains and agricultural terraces. Colca Canyon
During the route we will enjoy different views of Colca Canyon, one of the most impressive natural landscapes in Peru. Its depth, mountains, terraces and viewpoints create a unique visual experience. The guide will share information about the geography, history and culture of the valley, helping you understand why this destination is one of the most important in the Peruvian south.

Mirador Cruz del Condor
We will visit the famous Condor Cross, the most emblematic viewpoint of Colca Canyon and one of the most anticipated moments of the trip. From this point you can appreciate the impressive depth of the canyon and, if the natural conditions are favorable, observe the flight of the Andean condor over the valley. It is a visual and emotional experience that many travelers remember as one of the most special moments of their trip through Peru. After visiting the Colca and free time for lunch in Chivay, we will continue the journey to Puno. This route connects the Colca Valley with the highlands of Punja, crossing remote landscapes, lagoons, mountains and extensive high Andean pampas. It is the smartest and most comfortable way to continue to Lake Titicaca without returning to Arequipa.

Laguna Lagunillas
We will make a short photo stop in Lagunillas, a beautiful High Andean lagoon located on the route to Puno. Its calm waters, open landscapes and bird presence offer one last scenic stop before reaching the capital of Lake Titicaca.

Puno
At the end of the tour, we will arrive in the city of Puno between 7 :00 p.m. and 7 : 30 p.m. approximately, and then drop you off comfortably at your hotels.
