What to expect

Day 1: Arrival, orientation, and introduction to Buddhist monastic life.

Days 2–3: Join daily prayers, guided meditation, mindfulness practices, and simple monastic routines.

Days 4–5: Explore Buddhist philosophy, chanting, meditation, and contemplative practices through guided teachings.

Days 6–7: Participate in monastic activities, interact with monks, and visit selected sacred Buddhist sites around Kathmandu Valley.

Days 8–9: Develop deeper meditation and mindfulness practices while exploring Buddhist ethics and mindful living.

Days 10–11: Continue chanting, meditation, and Buddhist study with additional time for silence, contemplation, and personal reflection.

Days 12–13: Explore Buddhist traditions, integrate key teachings, and reflect on how to continue selected practices in daily life.

Day 14: Final meditation, closing teachings, personal reflection, farewell, and retreat completion.
