What to expect

Your evening adventure combo starts with a bus transfer from Tromsø city center to Camp Tamok, nestled in the Tamok Valley. Upon arrival, your guide will greet you and provide thermal suits, boots, and gloves to ensure you stay warm and comfortable in the winter night.
Fully equipped, you will meet our mushers and the huskies, receive instructions on how to drive the sled, and then head out on a guided dog sledding experience through the snowy wilderness. After your sledding adventure, return to Camp Tamok and warm up in cozy wilderness lounge, where you will be served a two-course dinner. Before heading out on your next adventure, you will receive a lecture from our guide about the science of the Northern Lights, local conditions, and how to observe this natural phenomenon. After the theory, you will once again get equipped to head out on snowmobiles to try and find the Northern Lights! While cruising the tracks, we will make several stops to scout and, if they appear, photograph the Northern Lights. You will share a snowmobile with a partner and take turns driving under the night sky. Upon return to camp, you will change out of your gear and relax on the bus ride back to Tromsø.
