The tradition of the day of the dead in Oaxaca is something you have to live at least once in your life.
It is only the 31st of October evening and we have few places available.
We will visit 03 pantheons of the most important: General Pantheon, Xoxocotlan Pantheon and Atzompa Pantheon.
The pantheons open their doors for family, friends and visitors to enjoy this tradition that is one of the most important in Mexico.
Music, food and tradition is what awaits you.
Meet the pantheons with local guides, who know and will give you all the details of this tradition.
We will be small groups for each group to have their transport with their operator, tour guide and coordinator. everyone will be aware of every detail.
We will have a meeting point, where the vans will be ready with their group name and their day of the dead offering: flowers, bread, chocolate, candles and mezcal.

We will visit a family in this town where the tradition of the day of the dead is more alive than ever, we will see how to assemble an altar of the dead with : Fruit, bread, flowers, candles, mole, chocolate, tamales, incense, photos, etc. We will participate in this family task and have the opportunity to prepare chocolate to eat with some rich tamales and a spectacular bread of dead. They will also explain the most popular craftsmanship of the village, which are wool mats with fibers and natural dyes.

We will visit the niches, where you can understand how this special day is lived very close to the city.

This pantheon is one of the most visited, full of history, music, candles, flowers, etc. You will have the opportunity to walk through all three sections.

We finish with a pantheon with a different view, leave aside the ostentatiousness of the other two pantheons and introduce ourselves to a more local environment, where flowers, music and candles will work magic.
