Enter at the top of the great steps (on Taylor St) on the left. The accessible entrance is just north of the steps on Taylor. Go through the double glass doors, turn left, proceed down the hall, turn right past the restrooms until you reach the elevator on the right. Take the elevator to floor 1.

    Grace Cathedral Episcopal Church

    Uncover the secrets of Grace Cathedral on a special guided tour. Head behind closed doors to glimpse hidden passageways and historic rooms with secret compartments. Peruse the Chapel of Grace, which features several historic furnishings from the 15th and 16th centuries. Then visit the Columbarium and pay respects to many notable San Franciscans. Enjoy interior vistas of the massive cathedral from the Gallery overlooking the labyrinth and view the arches of the cathedral. Begin the climb up to the South Tower and step through secret doors to experience up-close views of the cathedral’s breathtaking stained-glass windows. Witness the beauty of the Rose Window and our famous Albert Einstein window. Then take the final stairs to the Observation Level for a panoramic view of the city from Nob Hill and listen to the tolling of the 44-bell Carillon in the adjacent North Tower.
