Whether you're snorkeling for the first time or have snorkeled many times before, most people have never actually been taught how to snorkel properly. This experience combines practical instruction with a guided reef adventure, helping you get more out of every moment in the water.
Start with an extended snorkeling and safety briefing covering equipment use, breathing, body position, efficient finning, communication, the buddy system and important safety principles. Then enter the water and practice essential skills such as mask and snorkel clearing, relaxed swimming and efficient movement.
Once you're comfortable, you'll have the opportunity to go beyond simply floating at the surface. Learn how to duck dive, equalize your ears, move efficiently underwater and return to the surface, always at your own pace and comfort level.
The experience is adapted to each guest's ability, so beginners can build a strong foundation while experienced snorkelers can improve their technique and learn new skills.
