Discover Guanajuato bite by bite.
There are many ways to get to know a city, but few as delicious as tasting it.
In this gastronomic experience, we will walk through the Historic Center in search of the flavors that are part of the daily life of Guanajuato. We will visit small local establishments, making different stops to try Mexican snacks, traditional sweets, drinks, breads, desserts, and some other surprises.
We don't want to just take you from restaurant to restaurant. We want you to discover what Guanajuato eats and why. We combine gastronomy, stories, and local life so that each tasting brings you a little closer to the city's culture.
It will be a relaxed, fun, and very Mexican experience: walking, tasting, conversing, and discovering Guanajuato from a different perspective.
In the middle of the small square, right next to the Florentine fountain.
The first stop takes us to a charming square full of flavor and local life. Among aromas and small stalls we will discover traditional corn gorditas, freshly squeezed juices, and artisanal chocolates. Here begins the journey to savor Guanajuato, one bite at a time.
Amidst the architecture and atmosphere of this historic small square, we will enjoy a coffee or Mexican chocolate while discovering how these drinks became part of history, traditions, and the table.
We will arrive at one of the most bohemian and charming squares in Guanajuato, perfect for taking a break and trying some very Mexican flavors: traditional bread and cookies, artisanal ice creams, fresh fruit, or a refreshing horchata, pineapple, guava, or lime with chia water. A corner to sit, savor, and enjoy the rhythm of the city.
In front of one of Guanajuato's most emblematic buildings, we will discover the tastiest and most fun side of Mexican street food. We can try classics like fried snacks with pico de gallo, the famous tostilocos, or, for those who prefer something sweet, traditional gorditas de nata. Because in Mexico, even snacks have their own history.
We will enter one of the places with the most color, aromas, and local life in Guanajuato. Among stalls of fruits, seeds, and regional products, we will walk through their aisles while tasting typical sweets and traditional pork carnitas. A stop to savor the market like the locals do and discover that delicious chaos that is also part of Mexican culture.
