There are journeys where the road itself is the gift. The coastal drive from Cagliari to Villasimius is that kind — a sequence of views, stories, and discoveries that unfolds as if the landscape is taking pleasure in the telling.
Your English-speaking guide will weave together geology, history, and culture into a narrative that changes the way you see the coastline. Your first landmark is the Sella del Diavolo — the Devil's Saddle — whose silhouette watches over the Gulf of Cagliari. Your guide will share the legend of angels and demons, and explain the forces that shaped it.
Just beyond, the Molentargius Lagoon opens up, home to pink flamingos. As the road winds south, granite headlands, hidden coves, and watchtowers appear along the shore.
You'll visit two beaches — one near Villasimius, one near Solanas — with time to swim, snorkel, or simply relax on soft sand among granite rocks.
Beach locations are selected daily based on sea conditions and crowd levels.

We are going to stop in front of the pond of Molentargius, where you can see the characteristic pink flamingos and you are going to learn the history of this beautiful birds and of the lagoon.
