Enjoy lunch at a selected local restaurant in Boğazkale or the surrounding area. The menu normally includes Turkish or regional dishes and may be served as a set menu. Vegetarian meals can be arranged with advance notice. Other dietary requirements are subject to restaurant availability. Drinks are not included unless explicitly stated in the selected booking option.

4Yazilikaya
Continue to Yazilikaya, the most important known rock sanctuary associated with Hattusa. Walk between natural rock chambers decorated with reliefs representing processions of Hittite gods and goddesses. Your guide will explain: The religious role of the sanctuary The figures represented in Chamber A The more restricted character of Chamber B Hittite mythology and divine symbolism The possible connection between the sanctuary, royal ceremonies and the calendar The relationship between Yazilikaya and the capital at Hattusa The site includes natural rock surfaces, steps and uneven ground.

5Cappadocia
After completing the visits, begin the private return journey to Cappadocia. A comfort stop can be arranged during the drive when operationally possible. You will be dropped off at your hotel or previously confirmed accommodation. Visit the local archaeological museum displaying objects discovered in Hattusa and the surrounding region.
