We will pick you from your hotel or the location you choose and transfer to airport for an early morning flight.

Transfer to the appropriate Istanbul airport for your early-morning domestic flight to Şanlıurfa. Pickup generally takes place between 4:00 AM and 6:00 AM, depending on the confirmed flight schedule. Your exact pickup time and airport will be provided after booking.
Visit Şanlıurfa’s outstanding museum complex before traveling to the archaeological sites. Explore collections covering the Paleolithic, Neolithic and later periods, including important finds connected with Göbeklitepe and other prehistoric settlements in the region. The museum visit provides valuable context for understanding the architecture, sculpture and daily life represented at the sites you will visit later in the day. Continue to the adjoining Haleplibahçe Mosaic Museum, known for its well-preserved Roman-period mosaics.
Walk through one of Şanlıurfa’s most important religious and cultural districts. See the sacred pools traditionally connected with the story of the Prophet Abraham and explore the courtyards, gardens and historic buildings surrounding Balıklıgöl and Aynzeliha Lake. Your guide will explain the traditions associated with the site and its importance to the cultural identity of Şanlıurfa.
Visit the cave traditionally believed to be the birthplace of the Prophet Abraham. The cave remains an active place of prayer and pilgrimage. Respectful clothing and behavior are required during the visit.
Visit the UNESCO-listed archaeological site of Göbeklitepe, located in the Germuş Mountains outside Şanlıurfa. Walk along the protected viewing platforms and examine the monumental circular and rectangular structures created during the Pre-Pottery Neolithic period. See the site’s distinctive T-shaped limestone pillars, some decorated with reliefs of wild animals and symbolic figures. Your private guide will explain what archaeologists have discovered at the site and why Göbeklitepe has become central to discussions about early communal life, monumental construction and ritual activity. Time will also be allowed for the visitor center and archaeological exhibition, subject to the day’s schedule.
Continue to Karahantepe, another major Neolithic archaeological site in the Şanlıurfa region and part of the wider Taş Tepeler research area. See excavated structures, T-shaped pillars, carved stone features and striking human representations while your guide explains how Karahantepe both resembles and differs from Göbeklitepe. Karahantepe remains an active excavation and conservation area. The sections open to visitors and the walking route may change according to ongoing archaeological work.
After completing the archaeological visits, transfer privately to Şanlıurfa GAP Airport.Take your scheduled domestic flight back to Istanbul. A private driver will meet you at the appropriate Istanbul airport and transfer you to your hotel or another previously confirmed location within the service area.
