Palmilla Beach or blue lagoon natural pool, is a stunning natural pool and white sand beach, located within Cotubanamá National Park, near Saona Island and Bayahíbe in the Dominican Republic. It is renowned for its shallow crystal clear waters, emerald color and abundant presence of starfish, being a popular point of excursions by catamaran or boat.

Bayahíbe is a picturesque fishing village and tourist destination on the southeast coast of the Dominican Republic, famous for its crystal clear Caribbean waters, white sand beaches and relaxed atmosphere. Located near La Romana, it is the main point of excursions to Saona Island and Catalina Island, offering a quieter environment with less sargassum than Punta Cana.

Catuano is one of the most emblematic and strategic stops on Saona Island, located at the northwest end of the island, within the Cotubanamá National Park. It is known both as one of the only two permanent human settlements on the island and for its vibrant offer for ecotourism and diving. It is the geographical point where Saône Island and the main island of the Dominican Republic separate, and where the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Sea meet.

Canto de la Playa is widely considered the most spectacular and unspoilt beach on Saône Island. It is distinguished from the rest by being the furthest from the points where the large tourist groups disembark, allowing it to preserve an intact natural environment, without bars or massive commercial activity, It has been listed as one of the best beaches in the world and the best in the Caribbean in recent rankings (2025/2026) such as that of World's 50 Best Beaches. It offers extremely fine white sand, crystal clear turquoise waters and an edge of palm trees that provide natural shade.

4Mano Juan
Saône and its only major civilian settlement, with a population of approximately 300. Unlike the busiest beaches, this picturesque fishing village offers an authentic and relaxed experience, characterized by its iconic brightly colored wooden houses and sandy streets. Sea Turtle Sanctuary: Run by Pelagio Paulino (known as "Negro"), it is a center dedicated to the conservation of green turtles, hawksbills and tinglar. Visitors can learn about egg hatching and, in season (March to November), see newborn babies.On the main street you will find small local shops selling souvenirs, typical clothes and bracelets at prices often more accessible than in hotel areas.

5Bayahibe

Playa El Toro is considered a hidden gem and one of the most crystal clear beaches on Saône Island. It is distinguished by being a paradise corner, almost secret and rarely frequented by mass tourism, which makes it ideal for those who seek to disconnect in an unspoilt environment, It presents a "mini bay" physiognomy with immaculate white sand, turquoise waters without rocks and extensive coconut trees. Just behind the beach is a lagoon that, depending on the season and conditions, takes on a pink hue, offering a unique landscape on the island.
