This e-bike tour from Gaiole in Chianti to Castello di Brolio is designed for a relaxing, short and accessible experience in the heart of Chianti. The route, about 27 km long, develops along minor roads with little traffic, with an easy and smooth track, also suitable for families, couples or those who try the e-bike for the first time
Starting from Gaiole, you cycle through vineyards, olive groves, woods and rolling hills to the famous Castello di Brolio, immersed in one of the most iconic landscapes of Tuscany
The ride is short and pleasant, perfect to enjoy the view calmly and make some photo stops. Once at the castle, you can visit this place rich in history and symbol of the local wine tradition, with a small tasting of the wines of the estate

1Castello di Brolio
You are near the castle ticket office, park your bike ahead if you want to visit the gardens. The Castello di Brolio is one of the symbolic places of Chianti Classico and has been linked to the Ricasoli family since 1141. It rises in a panoramic position among vineyards and hills and is also famous for the figure of Bettino Ricasoli, linked to the history of Chianti wine. The gardens, viewpoints and chapel are worth visiting. No Reservation is required for entrance to the gardens, while guided tours must be booked online. In 2026 it is open from 6 to 19 March from Friday to Sunday, then from 20 March to 12 October every day; children up to 12 years old enter for free and the guided Classic Tour is indicated at 55 euros.

Cantine Cantalici : 500 years of history to tell The first evidence of the furnace, the oldest part of the farm, dates back to a map of the sixteenth century, and identifies it precisely as the "Furnace of Ridolfo Zati", dowry for the marriage of a rich Florentine citizen. Loris, our father, bought this plot of land in the 70s, and when we go to the barrel cellar making visits with tasting, we want to stop for a moment at the furnace, because it combines past and present.
