Explore the spectacular North Norwegian countryside with a trip adjusted to your needs. You will be accompanied by huskies, which are highly energetic dogs – so don’t be surprised if you start to wonder who’s really taking who for a walk!
An experienced guide will also accompany you, and on the trip, you will see the fjords and mountains that surround Tromsø. You might also get a closer look at some of the North-Norwegian wildlife.

What to expect
Do you love dogs and beautiful nature? Combine both on a hike with our four-legged friends and one of our experienced guides.
Join an experienced handler and a small group of energetic Alaskan huskies for a hike through the Arctic wilderness surrounding our center. As our dogs are strong working dogs trained to pull, they are normally shared between the group, and most guests enjoy taking turns handling them. Be prepared for some fun exercise!
After the hike, spend time in our puppy enclosure, where you can meet, play with and photograph the next generation of sled dogs. Then relax in our cozy Gamme (traditional hut) and enjoy a warm lunch by the open fire. We serve Bacalao – a traditional Norwegian fish dish with Portuguese roots – or a vegetarian meal if requested in advance, together with coffee and tea.
Our Alaskan huskies are born and raised as working dogs, and their welfare always comes first. Every hike is adapted to the dogs' age, fitness and wellbeing, and our experienced handlers carefully rotate the dogs between activities and rest.

- The tour is sold as a complete package with all services included. Using your own transport is optional, but the price remains the same. Activity cannot be guaranteed in case of late arrival.
