A wonderful experience. Today it is known as the city where there is one of the most important archaeological sites in the world. The Roman city was in fact buried by lava following the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD.C. Lava and ash were a sort of cover that allowed the city to maintain itself over the centuries and to be protected from the elements; for this reason the city remained intact and can be visited today.
Choose from three different pricing plans:
1 Option : with Private Official Guide (only for you!) that will accompany you during your visit of about 2 hours inside the archaeological site The Guide will provide detailed explanations about the history, art and daily life of the ancient city of Pompeii, making your tour even more engaging.
