We meet with the guests at Farout Cruises office
Check-in usually starts between 9 and 10 am; we’ll confirm your meeting time before departure. After check-in, we’ll set off for a cruise to the Blue Lagoon (Oludeniz Beach) — Turkey’s most iconic spot, famous for its turquoise waters and mountain views. Perfect for swimming, snorkelling, or paragliding from Babadag Mountain, it’s a breathtaking mix of serenity and adventure. In the evening, we’ll anchor at St. Nicholas Island, a true gem of the cruise and home to one of Turkey’s most unforgettable sunsets. As the sun dips behind the mountains, you’ll wander among ancient stone chapels, ruins, and pine-covered paths. At the island’s peak, the remains of a Byzantine amphitheatre offer a front-row seat to this magical view — where history and nature meet in perfect harmony.
Today, in the early hours, your gulet cruise will head for Aquarium Bay. Breakfast will be served, and there is time for swimming before heading further south.
Kas, a historic town with roots in Lycian, Roman, and Ottoman cultures, has evolved from a humble fishing village into one of the coast’s most charming destinations. Its picturesque harbour and 2,400-year-old marble streets invite leisurely exploration, with artisan boutiques and shops famous for handmade jewellery and local crafts. Just beyond the town, the ancient theatre offers sweeping sea views, perfectly blending history, culture, and the laid-back spirit that makes Kas truly unforgettable.
After spending a few hours in Kas old town, we will sail on towards the Kekova coast and anchor in Kocakari Bay for the night.
After breakfast in the tranquil Kocakari Bay, we’ll sail over the mysterious Sunken City of Kekova. This 2,400-year-old underwater ancient Lycian settlement vanished beneath the waves following a series of powerful earthquakes between the 2nd and 8th centuries. This partially submerged city reveals captivating ruins just below the water’s surface, surrounded by breathtaking coastal scenery. Next, we’ll cruise to Kalekoy and Simena Castle, where you can explore the striking on-water Lycian tombs up close, some even accessible by swimming. Wander through the quaint village of Kalekoy, with fewer than 50 houses, and climb to the summit of Simena Castle for panoramic views of countless islands stretching across the horizon. Don’t miss the chance to savour the locals’ legendary homemade ice creams, especially the dry fig and peach flavours served in charming house-cafes overlooking the stunning bay.
Later in the day, we’ll continue to the stunning Gokkaya Bay for dinner and an overnight stay. Surrounded by lush green hills and scattered islets, Gokkaya offers perfect conditions for swimming, snorkelling, and enjoying optional water sports, available through local providers. Smugglers Island Night-out: As evening falls, get ready for the legendary Smugglers Island night out. We’ll join other gulets at the quirky and iconic Smugglers Inn, a rustic open-air nightclub set on a remote island—accessible only by boat. With music, dancing, and a one-of-a-kind atmosphere under the stars, it’s a night you won’t forget.
Today is an easy start. Start your morning with a swim and enjoy another delicious breakfast spread. After breakfast, the gulet will cruise towards Demre Cayagzi Harbour, where we will moor before lunchtime. It is time to bid farewell to fellow passengers who are just completing the four-day cruise and welcome new arrivals. Throughout this time, we will cruise to Karemlik Turtles Bay to see some Caretta caretta turtles, snorkel, and relax. You may also visit Demre Cayagzi harbour, where you can explore the market or enjoy Turkish tea at a local café.
In the afternoon, we will cruise back to Kalekoy via the Sunken City, where you can take paddleboards to the Lycian Tombs or head east of the town to view the Lycian Tombs, which stand majestically in the water. Later in the day, we anchor back down in Gokkaya Bay. This is a turtle breeding ground, so be cautious of these majestic creatures while swimming. Tonight, you have the option to revisit the Smugglers Inn bar for another party night.
Today, we cruise to Limanagzi Bay, a tranquil escape renowned for its crystal-clear waters, lush green backdrop, and peaceful ambience. With inviting beachside restaurants and excellent swimming and snorkelling, it’s a perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the unspoiled beauty of the Mediterranean.
Next, we cruise to Kas for more shopping, or you may like to sit in one of the local cafes for great coffee and watch the world go by, giving you a chance to explore further. Take a short walk to visit the Antiphellos Amphitheatre near the Kas Harbour, and then head to Kucuk Cakil beach, a tiny cove with crystal-clear turquoise water. The beach is narrow and framed by cliffs, making it perfect for a refreshing dip steps from town. It's truly stunning. We will finish the day at Firnaz Bay - Aquarium Bay, where we will swim and Have Dinner.
This morning, wake up to the vivid blue waters of Butterfly Valley, one of the most breathtaking natural wonders along the coast. Nestled between towering cliffs that rise 350 meters high, the valley takes its name from the rare Jersey Tiger butterflies that can be spotted here during the summer months. Enjoy a refreshing swim in the crystal-clear sea or take an optional hike up the shaded trail leading to a hidden waterfall, surrounded by lush greenery. It’s a peaceful and invigorating start to the day.
From here, we continue to Oludeniz and its famous Blue Lagoon, often described as the most photographed beach in the world. With its calm, turquoise waters and sweeping white sandbar, the lagoon is a true icon of the Turkish coast. You’ll have time to swim, relax on the beach, or soak up the spectacular scenery that has made Ölüdeniz a destination in its own right.
As the day winds down, we make our way to St. Nicholas Island (Gemiler Island), steeped in history and legend. This island is home to the ruins of several early Christian churches, dating back to the 4th and 5th centuries, which are linked to St. Nicholas—the inspiration behind Santa Claus. Wander through the atmospheric remains of ancient chapels and tombs scattered across the island, or follow the path up to Sunset Point for an unforgettable panoramic view. As the sun sinks into the horizon, painting the sky in shades of gold and crimson, it’s the perfect setting to reflect on a day filled with natural beauty, history, and unforgettable coastal landscapes.
