This is not a typical ATV ride built around short loops near the base. It is a destination-driven off-road escape, where the route itself becomes the main experience.
From the moment you leave our Maleme base, almost the entire journey takes place on rugged natural terrain, with approximately 1.5 hours of pure off-road riding each way across the wild Rodopou Peninsula.
The reward at the end is Menies Beach, a remote bay accessible only by boat or off-road, with time to swim, relax, enjoy snacks and refreshing drinks, and visit the nearby Diktynna ruins.
Designed as a private 2–4 person activity, it offers a more relaxed atmosphere, and any licensed participant can easily switch between driver and passenger.
With hotel pickup, safety briefing, and lead guide support, this combines real off-road riding with comfort and beach time rarely found in standard ATV tours.

What's Included
Meeting and pickup
Pickup is provided directly from your accommodation or a nearby accessible meeting point in the Chania region.
A comfortable van or SUV will collect you and transfer you to our base in Maleme, timed to match the scheduled start of your ATV safari.
Please be ready outside your hotel or at the agreed pickup location at least 5 minutes before the scheduled pickup time.
Upon arrival at the base, your lead guide will welcome you for the safety briefing, ATV orientation, and route introduction before departure.
For your convenience, the driver will contact you shortly before arrival to confirm the exact pickup.
What to expect
Once ready, you’ll set off on a private off-road ATV safari across the Rodopou Peninsula, with approximately 1.5 hours of pure off-road riding each way through rugged mountain and coastal terrain. The route itself is a major part of the experience, offering changing landscapes, sea views, and the fun of reaching one of Crete’s most remote beaches.
At the end of the trail, you’ll arrive at Menies Beach, where you’ll have around 1 to 1.5 hours to swim in crystal-clear turquoise waters, relax in a peaceful setting, and enjoy light snacks with refreshing drinks by the sea.
For guests interested in history, there is also time to explore the nearby ruins of the ancient Diktynna sanctuary before beginning the return off-road ride back to base.
After the activity, your transfer vehicle will take you comfortably back to your accommodation.
