This experience offers a true cultural immersion with a local Andean community. Guests are welcomed with traditional music and guided by skilled artisans who preserve ancestral weaving techniques.

It is a hands-on workshop where you create your own textile piece while learning each step of the process. The experience also includes authentic traditions, local snacks, and the opportunity to support the community directly.

    • Warm welcome with traditional music from the community, led by the Varayoc (community leader). • Introduction of participants while enjoying a complimentary muña tea. • Demonstration of the Andean textile process: wool shearing, natural dyeing, warping, design, and weaving techniques. • Hands-on experience: create your own handmade piece (bracelet, belt, or keychain) guided by a local artisan. • Enjoy a traditional Andean snack including boiled potatoes, cheese, mote (boiled corn), toasted corn, mini corn tortillas, and a tasting of roasted guinea pig. • Free time to purchase handmade textiles and souvenirs. • Farewell with traditional music and the sound of the pututo.
