Designated as a UNESCO site in 2020, the Hantan River area has been recognized for its diverse geological environment and ecosystem. The area was a battleground for the Three Kingdoms' War, as well as the Korean War.
Located at the northernmost part of Korea in Cheorwon, the Goseokjeong Flower Garden boasts a breathtaking view with a million flowers in bloom. Originally, it was a training ground for the military. The field is now filled with a million flowers, including sunflowers, pink muhly, silvergrass, cypress, gaura, allowing you to capture beautiful photos.

Located in Yangju, Pink Nari Park features festivals showcasing pink muhly, roses, poppies, silvergrass, cosmos, globe amaranth, kochia, golden barley and more. In addition to flowers, there are local markets and various cultural events showcasing authentic culture.

Cheorwon Hantangang Columnar Joint Path is a walking path made by installing a small bridge between the cliffs and the cliff that hangs high as a ladder. The Hantangang area was designated a UNESCO Global Geopark in July last year. By exploring the Hantangang River's columnar joints, you can experience one of South Korea's unique natural wonders, combining outdoor adventure with geological discovery.
Goseokjeong Flower Gardens a beautiful attraction located near Goseokjeong Pavilion along the Hantangang River in Cheorwon. It is a meticulously maintained garden that features a wide variety of flowers and plants and designed to showcase seasonal blooms , also provide a serene environment for relaxation and enjoyment.
Yangju Nari Park is designed to offer a serene and visually stunning environment with its vast flower fields and well-maintained landscapes. One of the main attractions of Yangju Nari Park is its expansive fields of pink muhly grass, which bloom in late summer and autumn. The fluffy pink plumes create a dreamy, cotton candy-like landscape that is perfect for photography.
