The Colchagua Valley is one of the world’s premier wine tourist destinations. Known for its beautiful vineyard covered hills, hundred year old vines, enchanting colonial estate houses and modern high tech wineries, sets up a perfect atmosphere to enjoy a day trip from Santiago city.
Located in the southern half of the Rapel Valley, the Colchagua Valley has evolved over the last twenty years from being a calm stretch of farmland to becoming one of the largest and most active wine-producing regions in the country. The relatively low altitude of the coastal hills allows the Pacific breeze to mingle with the Andean winds, which cools the valley and prolongs the maturation period of the region.

We depart at 08:00 hrs from your Hotel and drive to Los Maquis winery for tour + wine tasting of their Icon wines at 10:30 hrs. The Maquis Viola has been awarded by Robert Parker as the best Carmenere in the world for 5 times. We invite you to a unique experience where history and elegance meet in every glass. Accompanied by our team, you'll tour our vineyard and the banks of the Chimbarongo estuary, discovering firsthand the charm and freshness that make our wines so unique. Enjoy an exclusive tasting in our manor house, where you'll immerse yourself in the world of our most prestigious wines. Enjoy a glass of our refreshing Maquis Revela Rosé, followed by an elegant iconic Cabernet Sauvignon from Calcu. The experience reaches its peak when you taste our acclaimed iconic wines Maquis Viola and Maquis Franco, both recognized worldwide and distributed by the prestigious Place de Bordeaux. Come and experience the magic of our most celebrated wines!

2Vina Montes
- We'll head to enjoy lunch at the famous Fuegos de Apalta restaurant, lead by the world-acclaimed chef Francis Mellman, an expert hand on meats; a superb culinary experience. You'll have the option to choose a la carte and pay for your own lunch. We'll take care of booking a table for you. - Once we end the your lunch, we'll head towards Neyen winery.

3Clos Apalta
Once lunch ends, you'll be able to go to Clos Apalta winery and enjoy a wine tour. Explore our historic Clos Apalta vineyard with a private 15-20 minute walk through the vineyard located 3 km from our winery. You'll see our vines, planted in 1907, which are among the oldest in the world. Immerse yourself in our commitment to organic viticulture. Discover the secrets of vineyard management with our experienced hosts, culminating in an unforgettable wine tasting. The entire experience lasts approximately 60 minutes and is offered in English or Spanish. *Please note that this tour does NOT include a visit to the winery. This private tour includes a tasting of Le Petit Clos 2020, Clos Apalta 2020, and Clos Apalta 2013, while you savor the essence of our wines amidst the scenic beauty of our vineyard.
