Depart from Johannesburg and travel towards the world-renowned Kruger National Park, enjoying a scenic journey through the picturesque landscapes of Mpumalanga. Along the way, admire the beautiful countryside, rolling hills, green valleys, mountain views and charming towns that make this region one of South Africa’s most scenic travel destinations. Enjoy the changing landscapes as you make your way towards the Lowveld, a region famous for its natural beauty and abundant wildlife. Take in the peaceful surroundings and capture memorable photographs along the route before arriving at Kruger National Park, where an exciting African safari adventure awaits.

2Kruger National Park
Experience an exciting sunset game safari in the world-famous Kruger National Park, where the African wilderness comes alive as the sun begins to set. Set off in an open 4x4 safari vehicle and explore the park’s diverse landscapes, keeping a lookout for Africa’s magnificent Big Five: lions, leopards, elephants, buffalo and rhinos. You may also encounter giraffes, zebras, kudus, impalas, hyenas and a variety of bird species along the way. As the golden African sun casts beautiful colours across the bushveld, enjoy the breathtaking scenery and the thrill of spotting wildlife in its natural habitat. With the guidance of an experienced safari guide, discover more about the animals and their behaviour as day transitions into evening. This memorable sunset safari offers a wonderful opportunity to experience the magic of Kruger National Park and capture spectacular photographs of the African wilderness.

3Kruger National Park
Day 2 - full day safari at Kruger National Park. Our safaris are done in open game vehicles specialized for game viewing with a qualified guide for the day. Although not guaranteed, you will have an excellent chance of seeing all of the big 5. We currently have about an 80% success rate in spotting big 5 animals in just one game drive. A must do activity to complete your African safari adventure! After enjoying a cup of tea/coffee and some biscuits 15 minutes before your departure time, you will be handed a packed breakfast to take with you and enjoy inside the Kruger National Park. A stop at one of the rest camps will be made around lunch time allowing you to get lunch (own expense) long the way. Full Day Safari: Summer departure times: 05:30am, returns: 15:00pm Winter departure times: 06:00am, returns 15:00pm Overnight at Kruger Adventure Lodge or similar hotel.

Traveling through Mpumalanga Province is a journey through some of South Africa’s most breathtaking landscapes and cultural treasures. Travel until we reach Gauteng Province and proceed to Johannesburg to end the tour.
