This private tour takes you through three of Dalmatia’s key sites in one day, blending ancient history, dramatic views, and coastal charm.
You start at Klis Fortress, a mountaintop stronghold with panoramic views over Split and the Adriatic, known for its long defensive role. Next is Salona, the ancient capital of Roman Dalmatia, where you’ll explore amphitheatres, basilicas, and vast Roman ruins.
The final stop is Trogir, a UNESCO-listed coastal town with preserved medieval streets, stone architecture, and a relaxed waterfront atmosphere.
What sets this experience apart is its private, flexible format. Instead of rushed group visits, you travel comfortably with time to explore each site, following the story of Dalmatia from Roman times to medieval and Venetian influences before returning to Split.
Our second stop is Klis Fortress, a historic stronghold perched high above Split. From here you’ll enjoy spectacular panoramic views of the Dalmatian coast while learning about the fortress’s role in defending the region for centuries.
Salona was the ancient capital of the Roman province of Dalmatia and one of the largest Roman cities on the Adriatic coast. Located just outside modern-day Split, it features extensive archaeological ruins including a forum, amphitheatre, city walls, basilicas, and early Christian cemeteries. At its peak, it was a thriving urban center with tens of thousands of inhabitants before being abandoned in the early Middle Ages.
Our final stop is the beautiful town of Historic City of Trogir. This UNESCO-protected gem is known for its narrow stone streets, charming squares, and stunning medieval architecture.
