2Kaymakli Underground City
We take you specifically to Kaymaklı Undergroun city rather than the other underground sites, and here is the difference: many places marketed as "underground cities" in Cappadocia are really just a few carved rock chambers. Kaymaklı is a genuine subterranean settlement eight levels deep, four open to visitors, once sheltering thousands of people for months at a time, complete with stables, a church, a winery, storage rooms, ventilation shafts and massive rolling stone doors. 7Uchisar
We stop for endless views at the foot of Uçhisar Castle, the highest point in Cappadocia. Without climbing the castle itself, from the viewpoint around it you'll take in Pigeon Valley, the fairy chimneys of Göreme and, on clear days, snow capped Mount Erciyes in a single sweep. Your guide shares the story of this huge volcanic rock honeycombed with hundreds of rooms and tunnels, the local pigeon house tradition and how Cappadocia was formed. No steep climb , just an easy walk and unforgettable photos.

8Pigeon Valley
At the Pigeon Valley viewpoint, stretching between Göreme and Uçhisar, you will see exactly how the valley earned its name , thousands of tiny pigeon houses carved into the soft rock faces. For centuries local farmers collected the birds' guano to fertilise their vineyards and orchards. From the terrace you will photograph the valley's rippling tuff formations, Uçhisar Castle rising behind it, and the famous wishing tree hung with blue evil-eye beads. One of Cappadocia's most peaceful stops.
