    Sarapiqui

    After landing at Juan Santamaria Airport, a representative will guide you to the transfer to the lodge (Pick-up can be also arranged from hotels in San Jose). Arrive in Sarapiqui and enjoy free time at the lodge surrounded by an impressive natural beauty. Enjoy the magnificent views covered with tropical plants, admire colourful butterflies and hummingbirds or simply relax at listening to the sounds of nature. When the sun goes down, discover the wonders of the forest when most species are active. During the two-hour walk, a naturalist guide will tell you about the natural history of the various nocturnal species of the tropical rainforest. The guide will focus on nocturnal species such as insects, frogs and nocturnal mammals amongst others, giving you a different perspective of the rainforest.

    Today, be ready to live the perfect combination of adventure and nature at Sarapiqui river rafting class III. This section is filled with class II-III rapids and clear, refreshing water that swerves its way through the tropical rainforest of Sarapiqui, making it a true paradise! Once you arrive, our certified guides will prepare you with your professional gear and a briefing with safety commands and paddling instructions. Then, the adventure begins! Rapids with names like “Roller Coaster”, “Superman”, and “Air Force” will thrill you while the incredible surrounding flora and fauna will leave you breathless. Halfway through the tour, we will make a stop to savour a colourful buffet of fresh tropical fruit and to recharge your batteries before continuing the remainder of the rapids (included).

    Wake up to one last breakfast at the hotel. At the agreed time, pick-up at your hotel in Sarapiqui to transfer you to your next destination, either the Airport or your hotel in San Jose to continue your trip.
